This Purple patent leather satchel is one of our new range of autumn colours. This gorgeous shade of purple will complement any outfit and, being patent leather, has the added advantage of being water resistant, something very useful given our unpredictable British weather!
Hand-crafted in England by artisan leather-smiths, these leather satchels are made from top quality, natural heavy leather. Retro satchels are available in many different colours, sizes and finishes. The traditional design, which has been popular for centuries, features an adjustable shoulder strap, the straps and fasteners are finished with silver buckles and it is all stitched using a colour matched blend of cotton and nylon for extra durability. They all have an address box stitched on to the front pocket except the 11-inch one. You can choose to fit it with a briefcase handle if you desire or you can change our traditional buckles for magnetic fasteners where the buckles are permanently fastened and discrete magnetic closures are fitted to the bag for an easier opening.
All our satchels come in 5 different sizes, 11-inch, 12.5-inch, 14-inch, 15-inch and 15-inch extra large, ensuring you will find one suited to your requirements!
Please note that the 11” satchel does not come with a card holder rectangle on the front pocket.
If you so choose, you can even have your initials (or whose initials you want - perfect for personalising a present!) embossed on to your satchel, just choose that option on the details page and then make a note of the initials in the instructions box at the payment page- Easy!
